GAZA EMERGENCY APPEAL: HUMANITARIAN AID NEEDED
The escalation of hostilities, condemned by Oxfam and the global community, has plunged Palestinian and Israeli people into a dire situation.
Gaza is under siege whilst under a total blockade. The death, injuries and damage from airstrikes cannot be managed during the catastrophic halt in delivery of fuel, medical supplies, water, and food.
The situation is causing widespread suffering, displacing 70% of the population and leaving all 2.2 million people in Gaza trapped in appalling conditions.
While the four-day pause in violence provides a momentary respite, it is merely a bandage on a bleeding wound. Oxfam continues to demand an immediate and complete ceasefire.
