ISRAEL-IMPOSED SIEGE ON GAZA

On March 2nd 2025, Israel imposed a siege on Gaza – blocking all aid and commercial goods from entering. Oxfam and our partners have not received a single aid truck, food parcel, hygiene kit or any other essential equipment since then.

Oxfam’s supplies are nearly exhausted, with only a few water tanks remaining in Gaza City. While movement restrictions are causing additional challenges in carrying out our vital, life-saving work.

Staff are describing conditions as the “stuff of nightmares”.

Palestinians in Gaza are now emotionally and physically exhausted after 18 months of airstrikes and ground offensives, repeated forced displacement orders and restrictions on basic services.

We are applying as much political pressure as we can to reopen the borders and we stand ready to rush aid in once the siege is lifted. Please join us.
